The 23rd week marks the beginning of growth period. In the next 4 weeks the babies weight should double. The average babe is 8 inches and 1lb…so I am guessing that my Tank will be over 2.5 lbs. Today at work he must have been stretched out because my right rib was being kicked and so was my bladder.
Did you know that babies born to women who exercise throuhought pregnancy score higher on intelligence tests? So all that head sloshing against the uterus wall while I’m running isn’t doing any damage. Good to know.
Other than that, my belly is growing. I still have a regular belly button which is my sign that i'm not too big yet. I think i had a growth spurt this week. I was super fatigued one day and then the next day I woke up and I swear I looked bigger.
Life in Anchorage...we still have bout 4 feet of snow in the yard. We had some 40 degree days which accomplished a lot of melting but not enough. Kris is in Houston for training and will be celebrating his birthday alone in the Houston Hilton! We threw a little birthday party for him before he left. He got a very special present...an IPAD!! So all you that want to skype we are hooked up. Our name is jolinandkris or krisandjolin. We plan on having that wifi hooked up during the non-intimate times of labor and so those of you who will be in the lower 48 can see our new babe first hand!
Also, My lovely friends are throwing me a baby shower up here on June 17th. All our welcome!!!
