Here are the stats:
Height: 28 inches: over 100%
Weight: 19lb 10oz : 99%
Still bummed out the little dude didn't break 20 but happy at the same time..my arm gets tired. The pediatrician said that Bronson is as big as a 9 month old. His head is a little flat in the back but hoepfully that will straighten out when he begins sitting on his own. He had no complaints and thinks Bronson is growing wonderfully. He did get 4 vaccines today so now he is a little grumpy. We initially had this appointment the day we planned to leave Alaska but thought that would be a bad idea.
We are really excited to be going home. There is suppose to be a huge snow storm here tonight 12 inches or so then rain. I hope they have it all clear by the time friday rolls around.

Fun week
It's been a busy week for Bronson. On Wednesday Kris had a team builder at Alyeska Resort in Girdwood. It was Bronson's first time not sleeping in his own home. He did pretty good. He got to take advantage of the pool. I did dunk him, much to his dismay. Little does he know that we have swim lessons planned when we get back from Idaho. As always he got a lot of attention from kris's co-workers and he even literally got his cheeks pinched. Then on Saturday Kris had his annual Xmas party. We started the day at our friend Stone's house with ugly xmas sweaters, got ready, and went downtown. It was fun. We had a babysitter for whole 6 hours. Bronson was awake when we got home at around 10pm. I guess he was making sure we made curfew. We are really excited to be going home soon. We leave on Friday night/saturday morning. My dad will be picking us up. It will be his first time seeing Bronson. Since we will be on the red eye he will also get to babysit while we nap. Lets see if he remembers how to hold a baby.

4 months old
Alrighty, so it's been awhile since I did a blog, but I have a few legitimate excuses....1. Apparently my free blog isn't all that free. It had told me that i had met my limit of uploaded pictures and i would have to purchase more space. I had to do some soul searching to think if i really wanted to do this, since I am very frugal. But I had some feedback that pushed me to purchase the space and so the blog is back! 2. My mother was here for Thanksgiving so our priorities changed.
Well in the last few weeks we have been busy. The most important thing that occurred is my mom was up for Thanksgiving. We had a great time. The last time she saw Bronson when was he was 8 days old. How time flies. They had a great time getting to reacquaint with each other. She spent her time knitting him hats and playing. She even let Kris and I go spend a night in a hotel and she did the overnight duty. Thank goodness Tank was a good baby and slept through the night. Her being here meant that I had a black friday partner. She was a lucky dog and won me a 100 dollar gift card to Army Navy (which is now all gone). It was sad to see her go but not too hard since we know we get to see her in less than 2 weeks.
Bronson also had his first full day of daycare. Everyone said they loved him and he was full of smiles but he really didn't nap. Which meant, when he came home he was a bear!!! Also, Tanks first day of daycare was commemorated by having the largest earthquake I have experienced while living in Anchorage, 5.8.
Bronson is growing and thriving. In fact, he turned 4 months old today. He is being more smiley and giggles more. He hasn't mastered rolling over yet. He has done it once in his bed but that's it. He isn't saying any words yet either; we are working on that.
Upcoming events; tonight we are going to do our first sleep away from home. Kris's work has a hotel at Alyeska for him and family. So we will see how that goes.
Sat: BP xmas party. We have a sitter so we can enjoy some adult time
Dec 14; tans first flight home!!!!! The red eye. We apologize in advance for anyone who might be on that flight.

14 weeks
Hello all. Bronson is now 14 weeks going on 15. We have had a fun but sad week. Our best friends, the VOLFS, who just had their baby Aubrey (who Bronson is betrothed to) left for their new home in Montana. They are very excited about this as they are from Montana but we are very sad to lose our friends. Abbey and I had been through a lot including NP school, husbands who love the cowboys, and now babies. I know we will keep in contact though and always be friends.
As for Bronson. He is learning new things everyday. He really discovered his hands and feet. He will stare at his hands and they always end up in his mouth. We don't use pacifiers, he doesn't like them and prefers his hands. He likes to grab his toes when he is in the position, but his big gut prevents them from reaching his mouth. He is grabbing things more often too. His little mobile has an object you can pull down on and he has learned to do this with purpose. Being grabby he has also learned to grab mommy's hair! Ponytails for the rest of my life now.
We haven't mastered rolling over but he has mastered going to his side. In fact this is his preferred sleeping position. (just like mommy). When we put him on the ground for tummy time he isn't quite there yet either. His legs have the crawling motion and sometimes he will scoot his face across the blanket but he hasn't figured out he needs to push up with his arms. His head must be too big and tiring.
We also got accepted in to daycare at BP. We start nov 29. We had our intake interview yesterday. The facility is great and i am not worried about Bronsons care but i am worried about my perfectly crafted schedule that we are on, which includes him sleeping through the night. I still plan on working 2 days a week so hopefully it won't be too bad.
My mom comes on Tuesday. We are excited to have family for the Holiday. \We are going to put her to work though and Kris and I are going to have our first overnight.

13 weeks/ 3 months
Hello all. Time seems to get away from me when I am trying
to do this blog. With Halloween last week, football this week, me going back to
work, things have been busy. But HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRONSON, you are officially 3
months old today! NOVEMBER 5th.
So Halloween was fun. WE didn’t do too much but get dressed
up on the Sunday before and carve pumpkins with a group of friends that also
have children. It was fun though and our superhero family was a hit. Kris was
superman, we spray painted his hair black and he was very excited to have a
large onsie. I was catwoman and Bronson was Batman. He is so big. We had to cut
the neck of his suit so that it wouldn’t choke him. Next year we will have to
plan a little more in advance and come up with a more original idea.
This was also the first week I went back to work. It went
exceptionally well. I worked Friday and Saturday and Kris watched Bronson. I
felt very at ease knowing Bronson was in capable hands and Kris knows my
routine. The biggest pain in the rear was pumping at work. Bronson has still
only had breastmilk. I have a pretty decent stock pile so I hope that we can
delay formula for at least a few more months.
Bronson is learning new things everyday. He has now
discovered his toes and grabs them when his big belly isn’t in the way. He
still coo’s and giggles a little bit. The next goal is for him to make repetitive
sounds like MAMAMAM and DADADADA.
So also, since he is growing, we actually don’t have a lot
of 9-12 month onsies and full body outfits…so if you want to get Bronson a
present for xmas bigger clothes would be it.
WE are getting excited for the holidays. My mom will be here
for Thanksgiving and we are headed home DEC 15th for 2 weeks.

Happy 11th week birthday Tank. We had a very
uneventful week of diaper changing and napping. It is getting closer to
Halloween so we carved Tanks first pumpkin. We decided to go easy since we had
no idea how Tank would behave. He did great, slept most of the time, and even
drooled on the pumpkin to give it his seal of approval. He is becoming more
vocal with louder coos and sounds. He is still very particular when he will
talk to you. It mostly occurs when changing his diaper, which he enjoys
immensely. Tank still hates tummy time. We are trying different strategies;
having him on our chests, on our knees, in the am in the pm, it doesn’t matter
he just wails. As you know we have been having Tank sleep in his own crib this
last week and he has done really well. He is enjoying his new space though; he
wiggles and moves all over that crib. The other day I woke up to him having
done a 180 degree turn while in his swaddle sack. The only way I think that he
could have managed this was to kick harder with one leg than the other and spin
himself around. The upcoming week is not filled with anything exciting. We did
get a call from a day care center saying that they will have availability in
November so I am going to check that out. If I could at least get day care once
during the weekday that would mean more time for Kris and I on the weekends. We
have also sound a little babysitter gal to come over on Tuesdays from 3-6 so I can
go grocery shopping or kris and I can have an early dinner.
With Halloween coming up I am sure to have some great
pictures. Kris is going to be superman, Tank-Batman, Me-catwoman.

Week 10
Our little Tank is now 10 weeks old. We didn’t post last
week because noting new has really happened. My mom looks at pictures and says
that Tank looks more like kris everyday. He definitely has Kris’s personality.
He is pretty stoic about things but has his talkative moments. When he wants to
“talk” he does, with smiles, coos, and I might have even heard a giggle today.
We had a few other firsts. Tank and I had our first night alone. Kris had to go
to the slope. We all survived but I am very thankful for Kristopher. We also
had his first immunizations. We were worried that he was going to have a rough
night but he did pretty darn good. We didn’t even need to give him any Tylenol.
On that office visit his pediatrician gave him a good bill of health. NO surprise,
he is still big weighing 16lbs, that makes him 98% for weight. His length was
25inches which made him 97% for height and his head was 90%. Other firsts…well
it wasn’t a first but it was our largest blowout to date. See pictures below.
Today, October13th, tank experienced his first SNOW. (it is going to be a long
winter). On a happy note, my mom is coming up to visit over thanksgiving and we
are going to both northern and southern Idaho for xmas, taking 15 days off.
Hope to see you all when we come home. If you have any tips on traveling with
an infant let me know (we purchased first class tickets on the way home, I’m
sure people are going to be thrilled with us). Hmm, lets see, what else. Not
much. I have my first day back at work the first weekend in November. I am
having to work weekends because we still don’t have childcare. I had no idea
how hard it would be to find a daycare/nanny for an infant. Love you all!!
One more quick funny fact. According to the books, an
average 10 week old weights 11lbs and is 22.5 inches.
